Ettorino “Ett” Di Giovanni, Project Controls/Software Implementation Specialist

Ett manages numerous Canadian client operations providing project control services, software sales, support, and training.  He is responsible for project management systems development and project services including training client staff, software development, management and supervision, scheduling, cost control, economic analysis, project accounting, and client presentations. Ett has over 25 years of project management including 18 years in improving project and company operations and economic performance. He has completed all coursework for a Management Accountant certification and a degree in Building Science from Toronto’s Ryerson Polytechnical Institute.

Chris Donohue, Manager, Domestic Project Management and PRISM Client Development

Chris has over 18 years experience is the engineering and construction industry supporting home office and field operations. He designs project controls systems, on a graded approach, to meet specific client and project requirements. His expertise includes developing earned value management systems (EVMS) for major government and commercial projects; preparing EVMS system descriptions and procedures; writing project management plans; establishing work breakdown structures; developing integrated cost and schedule baselines; coaching clients in earned value management systems (EVMS) readiness reviews and preparation activities; establishing project governance documents; and forming teams of qualified resources to execute a program. He builds teaming relationships with senior management, clients, and project team members to help maintain strong communication links between project stakeholders and personnel.  Chris designs project management training programs, has over 12 years of experience with the PRISM Product Suite and various schedule software, he trains clients in project management practices, procedures, and tools.  His background includes commercial industrial process engineering and construction, mining and metals, and U.S. Government projects.  Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California State University, Chico.

Milan Njegomir

Milan has over 23 years of experience in project management and project controls, in private-sector minerals and construction industries, as well as in R&D projects in the US Weapons Laboratory complex. Originally from the oil and gas sector specializing in reservoir calculations and secondary recovery, he has also served in cost engineering, planning-scheduling, and ultimately R&D Project Manager and Project Controls Manager in the National Laboratory environment.  Prior to re-joining ARES Milan served as Manager of Project Controls for the Threat Reduction Directorate at Los Alamos National Laboratory—where the PRISM Project Manager suite was the corporate standard.  He currently provides PRISM suite marketing/sales, implementation, training and support to domestic and international clients’ projects.  Milan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wyoming.

Kevin Rowe, Canadian Operations Manager

Kevin manages the ARES office and operations in Calgary, AB, where he has successfully created high-performance project teams providing services and implementation support to oil, gas, and mining clients. He has over 30 years of project management experience including planning and scheduling, cost analysis, baseline planning analysis, and technical support.  Clients recognize Kevin for his ability to contribute to successful, cost-effective operations by the utilizing analytical and interpretive thinking; making decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; and encouraging others to work together to achieve organizational objectives. Kevin has a Certificate in Electrical Technology from the J.M. Perry Institute for Industrial Trade.

Sanjeev Sharma, Senior Systems Specialist

Sanjeev has over 10 years of experience developing commercial business application. Sanjeev is working on the next generation of PRISM Project Management. Prior to joining ARES, Sanjeev developed Computer Assisted Mass Appraisals systems for assessment professionals. Sanjeev developed and implemented FieldWare, a pen tablet system for on-site inspection and verification of real and personal properties and GeoWare, an application that integrates Geographic Information System with Computer Assisted Mass Appraisals system. Sanjeev holds a Master of Science in Computer Information System with a major in Database from Regis University, Denver, Colorado and a Master of Business Administration with a major in Marketing and Management Information System from Kathmandu University, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Erik Trutner, Manager, Software Development and Support Services

Erik provides managerial and oversight responsibilities for numerous software projects. His expertise includes computer programming, software system implementation, training, and consulting services for ARES software products and project controls systems. Erik has been the PRISM Project Manager software’s lead developer for the past 12 years, the lead developer for the PRISM Enterprise Suite of products, and has contributed to the PRISM Project Estimator software’s development. He has over 20 years of experience in project management software development using SQL Server, Foxpro, and Artemis databases with Visual Foxpro, Visual Basic, and Artemis computer languages. Erik is also experienced as a field cost engineer including establishing work breakdown structures (WBS), tracking and forecasting costs, and evaluating physical progress and performance.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Services from the University of California, San Diego.

David Way, Software Developer

David leads software development on the PRISM LEM upgrade and supports PRISM Executive. He is responsible for adding features, customizations, and application testing of the PRISM Web Products. He also assists clients’ installations. David earned a Bachelor of Applied Computer Information Systems and Business from Mount Royal College, Calgary.
