Track 2 - PRISM Project Estimator - Course C23 $295 - 4 hour course
| Day / Time |
Sept 23 - 8 AM |
Course Title |
C23 - Advanced Estimating using PRISM Project Estimator |
| Overview |
Learn how to create multiple types of estimates using PRISM Project Estimator including conceptual to detail estimates, change order estimates, parametric estimates, and more. See multiple examples of estimates to understand the numerous ways to set up coding, apply factors, and develop escalation and contingency. Understand how to consolidate external estimates into PPE and how to create a summary estimate from multiple estimates. |
| Prerequisites |
Understanding of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Excel
Basic Estimating using PRISM Project Estimator course or equivalent PPE experience |
| Methodology |
Hands on course including slide show presentation, software function demonstrations, training handouts, and students application using conference-supplied computers. |

- Class 4 Estimates
- Class 4 estimates, also known as Equipment Factored Estimates, or Parametric Models are generally prepared based on very limited information, and subsequently have very wide accuracy ranges. They are typically used for project screening, determination of feasibility, concept evaluation, and preliminary budget approval.
